Requirements

Before installing the plugin, ensure that you have:

An active DPO Pay merchant account
Your Company Token and Service Type details from DPO Pay
Access to your OpenCart admin panel

Installation Guide

Follow the steps below to install and configure the DPO Pay plugin for OpenCart.

1. Download the Plugin

Visit the official releases page on GitHub
Download the latest plugin package: dpo.ocmod.zip

2. Install the Plugin

Log in to your OpenCart admin panel
Navigate to:

Extensions → Installer

Under Upload File, click the Upload button
Select the downloaded file:

dpo.ocmod.zip

Click the Install button (green plus icon)

The plugin is now uploaded to your OpenCart system.

3. Activate the Plugin

Navigate to:

Extensions → Extensions

In the Choose the extension type dropdown, select:

Payments

Locate DPO Pay in the list of available payment methods
Click the Install button (green plus icon) next to DPO Pay

4. Configure the Plugin

Once installed, you need to configure the plugin with your DPO Pay credentials:

Click the Edit button (blue pencil icon) next to DPO Pay
Enter the credentials provided by DPO Pay, including:

Company Token
Service Type
API details (if applicable)

Set the plugin Status to:

Enabled

Configure your preferred Order Status settings
Click the Save button at the top of the page

Your OpenCart store is now ready to process payments via DPO Pay.

Testing the Integration

After configuration, it is recommended to perform a few test transactions to ensure:

Payments are processed correctly
Order statuses update as expected
Customers are redirected properly after payment

Troubleshooting

If you experience any issues:

Confirm that your Company Token and Service Type are entered correctly
Ensure the plugin status is set to Enabled
Verify that your OpenCart version matches the supported version
Check that your DPO Pay account is active
